1. Scope and roles
Teckel AI, Inc. operates Camo. This Privacy Policy applies to the Camo websites, applications, recruiting invitation pages, and related services (the Service).
Organizations use Camo to create recruiting campaigns and personalized invitations. An organization controls the candidate and recruiting material that it submits. For that material, the organization is the data controller or business, and Camo acts as its processor or service provider. Camo is the controller or business for account, billing, security, and direct website-use information.
If you received a Camo invitation, the recruiting organization is the best first contact for questions about its use of your information. You can also contact us using the address below.
2. Information we collect
Account and organization information
We collect names, email addresses, profile images, authentication identifiers, organization names, roles, memberships, and account preferences. Google sign-in gives us the basic profile and email data needed to authenticate you.
Customer content
Customers may submit company websites, job or opportunity material, action links, documents, pasted text, brand assets, campaign content, resumes, profile links, and other candidate material. We also store the pages, drafts, edits, and generated content created through the Service.
Information from supplied and public sources
When a customer gives us a URL or asks Camo to research a brand, opportunity, or candidate, we may retrieve information from that URL, public websites, public professional profiles, and search providers. This can include employment history, professional accomplishments, education, public posts, and other professional information.
Billing information
Stripe processes paid subscriptions. We receive customer, subscription, price, payment-status, card-brand, expiration, and last four-digit information. We do not receive or store full payment-card numbers.
Usage, invite, and device information
We collect generation usage, feature activity, published-invite views, action-link clicks, timestamps, IP addresses, browser and device data, request logs, and security events. A recruiting organization can see activity for invitations it created.
Communications
We collect information you send when you request support, report a problem, or communicate with us.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- provide, secure, maintain, and support the Service;
- authenticate users and manage organizations and permissions;
- research brands, opportunities, and professional profiles;
- generate and publish recruiting campaigns and invitations;
- measure invitation views and action-link clicks;
- process subscriptions and enforce plan limits;
- prevent abuse, investigate incidents, and comply with law;
- communicate about accounts, support, and material changes; and
- improve Service reliability, quality, and usability.
We do not use Google profile data for advertising. We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. AI processing
Camo uses artificial intelligence to analyze submitted and retrieved material and to generate recruiting content. We send the information needed for a task to AI and research providers. Generated content can be incomplete or incorrect. A customer must review it before use.
Camo does not make hiring decisions, rank candidates, or determine employment eligibility. Customers control whether to contact a person and how to use generated content.
6. Retention and security
We keep information while it is needed to provide the Service, maintain business and security records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Retention depends on the information type, account status, customer instructions, and applicable law. Deleting an item or account can remove it from active use before it expires from backups and required records.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your credentials and for controlling access to published invitation links.
We and our providers process information in the United States and other countries. When required, we use approved contractual or other safeguards for international transfers.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, know, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information. You may also withdraw consent and appeal a denied request where applicable. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
Send requests to support@camolabs.ai. We may verify your identity and authority before completing a request. If Camo holds candidate information only for a recruiting organization, we may direct the request to that organization.
8. Regional information
California
The categories described above include identifiers, commercial information, internet activity, professional and employment information, education information, and inferences from submitted or public professional material. We collect and disclose these categories for the business purposes described in this policy. We do not sell or share them for cross-context behavioral advertising.
European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
Where these laws apply, we process information to perform a contract, comply with law, protect legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, and act with consent when required. You can complain to your local data-protection authority.
9. Children
The Service is for business users who are at least 18 years old. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy. We will post the new effective date and give additional notice when law requires it.
